Present yourself in the interview in appropriate interview wear. Dressing in your best will make you feel good and more confident. Give your interview answers in a clear, well-modulated voice.

Salary compensation and benefits might be discussed during the second interview. Do research on salary beforehand so that you will know the prevailing rate for your position in the particular industry that the company operates in and decide if you are accepting the job or not.

Compare your qualifications with that of the job description. Remember that fit is a most essential factor to be considered for the job. Know more about the position so you can communicate your skills and ability to meet the job requisites.

Come to the interview with your questions to ask interviewer. This is a good chance to find out more about the company. Formulate questions according to what you learned during the conversation with your interviewers.

Interview consulting, your interview coach would like to impart to you valuable job interview tips and techniques on making a follow-up after your job interview. One most important interview tip is to send a thank you note to your interviewer within twenty four hours after the interview. While there is no consensus among employers whether a thank you letter will boost the chance of a job candidate with his/her job application, many believed that a thank you note is of utmost importance.

By sending a thank you note, you are reiterating your interest in the job. It is also a way of showing gratitude that you were given the chance to interview. Through this letter, you can remind the interviewer regarding your qualifications for the job. Also, the thank you letter provides a good opportunity to discuss important things that your interviewer failed to ask during the interview, and also to enhance or expound your interview answers to interview questions asked by the interviewer. Furthermore, it is way of manifesting excellent manners and proper interview etiquette. Thus, when you make your thank you letter, be extra careful of its contents. It should be a sincere expression of thanks to a prospective employer. Review the letter several times. You may send your thank you note by mail (either typed or handwritten) or thru e-mail to all your interviewers.

Besides the thank you note, another interview tip and technique is to make a follow-up after your job interview. The job interview follow-up can be done thru e-mail or by phone. At the end of your interview ask the interviewer when you can make follow-up on your application. If you were not given a definite date to follow-up your application, our interview tip is to wait for about a week before contacting the interviewer.

When having your follow-up call, a significant interview tip and advice is to thank again the interviewer and emphasize your interest in the job. Once more, mention your specific skills relevant to the job.  Verify if you are still considered for the job and when will be their final hiring decision. When inquiring about your application status, be courteous and show professionalism.
